Our journey...

In the beginning.

Owners Rudy and Clara began managing the motel in the summer of 1994. With the motel being run down, they began the process of making it something special by rebuilding and remodeling the property, not only for them, but for their future clients. The road was tough right from the start with fires devastating the nearby residents that first summer. The devastating Tyee fire of 1994 burned thousands of acres deterring visitors from coming. Rudy and Clara persevered. They would have several trials, but they’ve overcome all the obstacles to build a thriving business.
